Since 2018, Partena Professional – one of the largest HR service providers in Belgium – has been undergoing a transformation. The goal: to leave a pyramidal work organization in favor of a more integrated and agile collaborative organization. The traditional management structures have been removed and the company has implemented a governance system based on the autonomy of its 1,500 employees, where the decision-making process is brought down to the level closest to the client.

How did Partena Professional manage this transformation, and what would it do differently in retrospect?
