Former student of the ENA, Pascal Demurger leaves the budget department at the Ministry of the Economy and from Finance to join MAIF in 2002. He held various positions before taking on the Group management in 2009.
Elected President of the Groupement des Entreprises Mutuelles d’Assurance (GEMA) in 2014, while working in the construction of the French Insurance Federation, of which he has been vice-president since its creation in 2016 and until July 2019. He is also the first President of the Association of Mutual insurers which was founded the same year.
As a committed manager, he believes that the company must commit to its responsibilities beyond themselves by ensuring its impact on its environment. In June 2019, he published L’entreprise of the 21st century will be political or will no longer be, in which he shares his visions and his experience in the construction of an original business model for the past 10 years at MAIF.
